We collect information you give us when you create an account, place an order, contact us, request a return or communicate with our team. This can include your name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery addresses, order history and correspondence.
Stripe processes card and payment credentials on its hosted checkout. We receive payment status, transaction references and limited payment information, but we do not receive or store complete card numbers or security codes.
We also keep security and operational records such as sign-in attempts, audit events, page-area request totals and error information. Storefront usage reporting is aggregated; it does not store visitor IP addresses or a browsing profile.
If you allow first-party personalisation, we record limited product views, searches, bag additions and recommendation interactions against a random identifier for the current browser-tab session. A list of up to eight recently viewed product IDs is kept locally on your device for up to 30 days and can be cleared from the section itself. Recommendation events do not contain your name, email address or raw IP address, and we do not use them for advertising or create a health profile.

Who receives information?
We share only what is necessary with payment providers such as Stripe, delivery providers, email providers, hosting and database providers, professional advisers and technology support suppliers. These organisations must process information securely and only for the agreed service. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Some suppliers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we require an approved transfer mechanism or another lawful safeguard.
How long we keep it
Issued invoices, credit notes and supporting transaction records are normally retained for at least six years to meet tax and accounting obligations. Account and support information is kept only while it is needed for the purposes above, including resolving disputes, fraud prevention and legal claims. We review retention and securely delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required.
Raw optional recommendation-interaction events are retained for no longer than 180 days. Aggregated product-to-product scores do not identify an individual visitor.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Email hello@especiallyhealthstore.com to exercise a right. We may need to verify your identity. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Children and changes
This store is not designed to collect account or order information directly from children. We may update this policy when our services, suppliers or legal obligations change; the review date above will be updated.
