Cloves are the dried flower bud of the Syzigium aromaticum tree, naturally rich in eugenol. Clove trees begin flower and bud production four years after plantation, at which point they are collected by hand. Oregano is included in the form of a potent essential oil, providing 12mg per capsule. The oil is obtained by steam distillation of the flowers and leaves, and the resulting product has been shown to have an antioxidant effect as well as a positive impact on stomach and gut health.
