Montmorillonite clay has been used for centuries to rejuvenate skin. When prepared as a face mask, the clay dries on the skin causing pores to tighten and the skin to feel toned and firm. It can be used in detoxifying clay baths, body wraps, clay masks, mineral or cream-based cleansers, and face or body scrubs. Great for oily skin, this clay absorbs dirt while gently cleansing the pores.

100% Montmorillonite Clay
Directions
Mix 1 part clay with 2 parts water. Whisk, adding more clay or water as needed until you get a smooth consistency. Apply to skin (avoiding the eyes and mouth) and let the clay dry for 15-20 minutes. Slight skin redness may occur, which should disappear 30 minutes after removing mask. For hair, begin at the roots and massage clay throughout, then leave for 5-10 minutes (do not let it fully dry). Rinse with warm water.
